Client Testimonials
“We continue to buy rams at the Tara Park sale because we can buy predictable genetics to help us achieve our aims of soft productive skins, producing bright white, well-nourished wools on a sheep with excellent confirmation. By using Tara Park genetics, we are able to produce a well-balanced, productive sheep with wool that tests positively, keeps out dust, repels water and "does" well in our environment and elsewhere.”
— Greg Simpson, Winjallock, Victoria
“The Stewart family at ‘Derneveagh’, Harden have been buying rams from the Evans Family at Tara Park for approximately 32 years. Durable, versatile and productive are the first things I associate with Tara Park sheep.
Buying a Ram is the same as buying anything, you have to prioritise the boxes in the order you want ticked – so for us structure, fertility, quality and quantity of wool and so on are important. Also, sheep need to be able to handle everything that Mother Nature can throw at them and over the last 5 years she certainly has done that! From dust to mud and everything in between. The Tara Park genetics have handled all of this, and the sheep have thrived in all of these conditions.”
— Andy Stewart, Derneveagh Pastoral Company, Harden
