26th On Property Ram Sale
Summary of The Land report.

At the Evans Family’s annual On Property Ram Sale 88 of the 90 rams offered sold to an average of $1623.

The top priced ram sold to brothers Patrick & Andrew Davis, Demondrille Merino Stud Fairview Harden for $7400. The ram sired by 74 47, had a fleece test of 19.2 micron, 3.2 SD 17.s CV and 99.2pc CF..

The Davis brothers said the ram had a good wool growing skin, great length, muzzle & good sirey head. “He is not your average type of ram, he has great wool quality and cut” they said. “We have been using Tara Park bloodlines for 20 years

The second highest priced ram went for $4200 to T & GA Simpson, Winjallock, Victoria, who took home a second ram for $3000. The 93kg ram, had a fleece test of 18.1 micron, 3.7 SD 20.4 CV & 99.6 CF.

Long time clients, the Mattiske Family, “Sunnydale” Forbes , were volume buyers purchasing 7 rams to a top of $1600.
Neil Mattiske & his daughter Joanne Stephenson have been using Tara Park genetics for 20 years.
